Many thanks to all those students who answered the Learning Centre survey. The data provided has helped us to plan for the future and order resources in areas where students said we were weak.
New Display
Our latest display is ‘Fiction for Everyone’ so if you like crime novels, or romantic novels or horror novels or any type of novel please look at the display and take away some fiction and enjoy them. Reading some fiction in between revising for your exams will help you to relax and be calmer.
Hunger Games
Continuing on with fiction we now have the Hunger Games trilogy in stock. So if you want to find out if the latest sensation measures up to Harry Potter take it away and find out.
Busy Learning Centre/ Room 207
The Learning Centre at this time of year is very busy and can get noisy. We ask all students to remember fellow students are working and don’t want to be disturbed by loud talking. Just a reminder if you want to work in a silent environment room 207 is available between 1.15- 2.15 each day.
New Books and Films
New books and films are coming in each day so check in your subject areas and on the DVD shelves for new resources. If you can’t find what you are after please ask a member of staff. Students in the survey said we did not have certain books when we did, they could not find them and did not ask us where they were. If you can’t find the information you are after ask for help!
